Ubisoft has previously made offers for players to enjoy its weekend games for free and for a limited time such as FarCry 5 and others. Now it is the turn of Assassin’s Creed Origins, according to a statement we received from the company, where it says:
Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed Origins, the popular part of the award-winning Assassin’s Creed series, will be available for free play this weekend from June 19-21 via Uplay. Players can download Assassin’s Creed Origins in advance starting today.
Assassin’s Creed Origins happen in ancient Egypt during a mysterious and decisive period that plays a role in shaping civilization. Players embody the role of Pike, the protector of Egypt and one of the earliest Assassins, and they will immerse themselves in an open world that comes to life and discover the secrets behind the great pyramids, forgotten myths and the last pharaohs, and the story of the origin of the Assassins fraternity engraved in forgotten hieroglyphs.
Players will be able to access the full main game during the free weekend period.
